Advertising Sales / USA TODAY Special Editions

SEP is a progressive national advertising sales organization that represents more than 40 glossy lifestyle magazines and special editions published by USA TODAY. From the New York Yankees Preview to the Dallas Cowboys Preview, from the Green Living Guide to the Modern Woman magazine, USA TODAY offers a wide variety of keepsake, commemorative stand-alone publications that provide readers with rich content and complete coverage. Now in our 5th year, SEP's office is expanding into new markets and looking to hire career-minded sales representatives to sell advertising into these USA TODAY Special Editions.

The Job at a Glance

SEP Sales Representatives sell advertising packages on behalf of USA TODAY Special Editions to local, regional and national companies throughout the United States. Advertising packages include a combination of promotional assets and hospitality options for everyone from C-level executives at medium to large-sized companies & municipalities to small business owners alike. Expectation is to continually develop new business and grow existing accounts.

Compensation

Salary for this position is $35,000 annually plus potential to earn monthly bonuses and quarterly commissions. As an added benefit, we provide health insurance at a shared cost in that we contribute to medical premiums for both employee and dependents.

Requirements
  • Previous sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills.
